Background
Medline ARABIA was developed by healthcare professionals in Qatar who realized the importance of improving the health, safety and care of patients who could not understand English. They observed that miscommunication due to language barrier and lack of patient education was the most common cause of serious medical errors and that some form of language or understanding barrier was present in almost one in every four patient encounters.
They realized the need to address this big gap and envisioned a Middle East where every patient understood their disease, care, and treatment and was educated about disease prevention in a language they understood. With support from the Digital Incubation Centre of Ministry of Transport and Communication and guidance from an esteemed Board of Advisors, the company has established itself as a leading language and patient education solutions provider in the Middle East.
